Don't worry! If you can't link your account right away, you can still continue to earn Twitch Drops. 

Some players are encountering issues when trying to link their Twitch account to their Steam account. It may be a simple load issue on the account linking website. Some people are having success trying multiple times. 

If you are attempting to link your account and have not yet played Stormgate, please note you may get a message reading Steam Account Not Linked. In the event of this issue, be sure to select Create a new account --> Sign Up with Steam.
