What is this page about?
The Known Issues & Solutions page is meant to help provide information regarding high-priority issues, such as those impacting a fair number of players, or that are most disruptive to gameplay.
How do I report a bug?
If you encounter a bug in Stormgate, please let us know. Your reports help us improve the game for everyone. Right now the best methods to do that are:
- Steam:
- Head over to the Bugs and Technical Issues Discussion Forum or the Localization Bugs discussion forum if your bug is for localization, text, or Voice Over
- Search to see if anyone else has run into the issue that you are seeing
- If no post exists, create a new bug using the template pinned to the top of the forum section
- Discord:
- Head over to the Stormgate Feedback section on the Stormgate Official Discord
- Search the #bug-reports channel to see if your bug has been submitted
- If no post exists, create a new bug report by hitting the “New Post” button at the top of the #bug-reports channel
Issue Status Key
Issues have been marked with a status that best represents their current state:
Examples Needed | This issue has been reported, but we need more information to continue our investigation. |
Tracking | This issue is currently being investigated and worked on by our team. We do not need any further reports at this time. |

Audio

Performance / Stability

Issue Playing Videos or Loading Maps on Lower Spec Machines | Tracking | Lower spec machines may have issues playing videos or loading maps while on high graphics settings. Workaround: Set your Visual Quality to Low in Options, and your antialiasing setting to FXAA or Off — Also use the DX11 option when launching the game via Steam. |
Issue with Changing Graphics Setting Mid Match | Tracking | Lower spec machines may have performance issues when changing graphics settings mid-match. Workaround: Restart your game after changing graphics settings. |
Performance Issue when Deploying Large Groups of Units | Tracking | Morphing/Deploying large groups of units may cause minor temporary performance issues. |

Pricing and Purchases

The In-Game Store prices will display in USD (i.e. $9.99) instead of your local currency. When you go to purchase the item, the Steam popup for payment will display in your local currency, looking different then what you saw in the store. Regions impacted:

In Game Price Listed Does Not Match Steam Price | Tracking |
The In Game store prices for various locations are currently a direct translation and not accurate for localized pricing. While the DLC on the Steam store page reflect regionalized prices, the price of individual items within those DLC packs in the in-game store is a direct USD<>Local Currency translation. This means that the sum of individual items on the store is going to be much higher than the bundled Early Access Pack DLC on the Steam store. We currently do not have a fix for this at Early Access until we implement the Steam microtransaction system at a later date post Early Access launch. Players will be incentivized to purchase the Early Access DLC bundles instead of buying items individually in the in-game store. Regions impacted:

Replays / Observer

Black Game Camera (Intel Arc Video Card) |
Tracking | Players with Intel Arc graphics cards may experience a black/blank game camera when using DX12. Users with Intel cards that hit our minimum spec requirements can work around this by using DX11. |
Hornet Graphical Error | Tracking | Hornets cause artifacting when starting and stopping. |
