Slow performance can occur as a result of many different factors. The following troubleshooting steps might help improve performance.

• First, Identify if your issue is caused by your connection or local performance
  • While in a Stormgate match you can use CTRL + ALT + Shift + F to see some important information
    • If your FPS is low consider the Graphics troubleshooting below
    • If your ping is high consider the connectivity troubleshooting here
      • Note, different regions and connections experience different levels of ping, if you aren’t sure what your ping is normally, consider looking for moments when ping spikes higher than usual

• Graphics troubleshooting
  • If you’re experiencing low framerate (or FPS):
    • Check your video card drivers are up to date
    • Verify your hardware meets or exceeds our minimum specifications
    • Launch Stormgate and select the option for "rollback disabled"

• • • Lower your Stormgate graphics settings
      • Generally lowering graphics settings should help with performance, and much of it can be trial and error to find what settings improve your experience the best
    • Close any background processes
    • Fully exit and restart Stormgate and Steam
    • Restart your system
    • Verify integrity of game files in Steam
    • Uninstall and reinstall Stormgate
